Technical drawings are mainly submitted for translation as .pdf or .dwg files.
A pdf-file undergoes a recognition stage and is converted into a .ppt or .doc file to be then uploaded into a CAT tool. After the translation is finished, the layout designer aligns the document and saves it as a pdf-file.
Dwg-files aren't translated in AutoCAD directly. The text is extracted by means of special software and uploaded into a CAT tool. Once translated, it is delivered back to the AutoCAD file to replace the source text.
We calculate the costs for translation and typographic formatting of technical drawings individually and based on their size.
