Translating the names of dishes might seem a rather simple task. And yet, transcreation techniques need to be implemented here, particularly when it comes to national cuisines.

The translator finds appropriate and accurate matches in the target language, uses descriptions where necessary and, most importantly, makes the menu appealing to foreign visitors.

The design and layout should be taken into account as well to make a bilingual/multilingual menu readable and aesthetically pleasing.
